PlusCBD Review: A Closer Look at the Brand, Its Gummies, Oils, Softgels and More

Shopping for CBD should be simple by now. Somehow, it still isn’t.

One website talks endlessly about milligrams without explaining what they mean. Another offers twenty nearly identical bottles with vague names such as “Balance,” “Restore” and “Ultimate.” Then there are brands that seem determined to make CBD look either like medicine or like candy, with very little middle ground.

That is one reason PlusCBD caught my attention.

Rather than building its entire range around one trendy gummy, PlusCBD has developed a fairly broad collection that includes CBD gummies, softgels, oils, sprays, balms, roll-ons, topical creams and even pet products. There are also THC-free options and products combining CBD with hemp-derived THC, so shoppers can choose according to what they are actually comfortable using rather than being pushed toward a single formula.

After looking through the current range, what stands out most isn’t flashy packaging or extravagant promises. It’s choice.

And in the CBD market, sensible choice counts for a lot.

PlusCBD Makes It Easier to Start With the Format You Actually Like

Some people enjoy putting drops under their tongue. Other people absolutely do not.

That sounds obvious, yet plenty of CBD brands still seem to treat tinctures as the default.

PlusCBD gives you considerably more flexibility.

If you want something straightforward and easy to incorporate into a morning routine, there are softgels. The Daily Balance full-spectrum softgels, for example, are available in different strengths, with the 15 mg version providing 15 mg of CBD in each vegan softgel. The formula uses extra virgin olive oil as a carrier and does not pile on a long list of additional functional ingredients.

That simplicity makes the Daily Balance line one of the easier places to begin.

No measuring. No guessing how full the dropper is. No hemp-flavored oil lingering in your mouth.

Take the serving indicated on the label and move on with your day.

For someone who has been curious about CBD but keeps putting off a purchase because the category feels unnecessarily complicated, this is probably the first section of the PlusCBD store I would browse.

The Gummies Are Where Things Get More Interesting

Gummies are inevitably a major part of the PlusCBD lineup, but the brand doesn’t simply change the flavor and call each bottle a new product.

There are formulas built around different routines.

The Calm Gummies, for instance, contain 10 mg of CBD along with 100 mg of L-theanine and 50 mg of 5-HTP per gummy.

For evenings, PlusCBD has several sleep-focused options. The THC-free Extra Support Sleep+ Gummies contain 25 mg of CBD, 3 mg of CBN and 3 mg of melatonin per serving, along with magnolia bark and lemon balm.

Then there is the Reserve Sleep line for adults who specifically want a product containing THC. A Reserve Sleep gummy contains 25 mg of CBD, 2.5 mg of THC, 5 mg of CBN and 3 mg of melatonin. PlusCBD lists the gummies as naturally flavored, vegan, gluten-free and made without artificial flavorings.

That distinction is important.

Someone who wants to avoid THC has a clear option. Someone who deliberately wants a full-spectrum CBD-and-THC product has one too.

You don’t have to buy the strongest-looking bottle just because the label makes it sound impressive. Pick the formula that actually fits your routine.

That may sound like a less aggressive sales pitch, but it is also the kind of approach that makes people far more likely to remain happy with what they buy.

The Reserve Collection Is for a Different Kind of CBD Shopper

PlusCBD’s Reserve Collection deserves its own mention because these aren’t simply standard CBD products in more expensive packaging.

Reserve products combine CBD with measurable amounts of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC.

For example, Reserve gummies are available with 25 mg of CBD and 2.5 mg of THC per serving, while Reserve EXTRA Gummies raise the THC amount to 5 mg while retaining 25 mg of CBD. The brand also offers Reserve softgels and oils.

There is even a Fizz effervescent tablet containing 2.5 mg THC that dissolves into water or another drink.

This is a nice example of why browsing by product type rather than simply buying the first bestseller makes sense.

If you are completely new to hemp-derived THC, more is not automatically better. Read the cannabinoid amount carefully, pay attention to local rules and start conservatively according to the product directions.

On the other hand, experienced adult consumers who already know they prefer a CBD/THC combination will probably find the Reserve range considerably more interesting than a catalogue filled exclusively with CBD isolate.

One of PlusCBD’s Better Features Is Something You Don’t Actually Consume

There is another part of the shopping experience worth mentioning: testing.

CBD is one of those categories where a beautiful bottle tells you very little about what is actually inside it.

PlusCBD publishes Certificates of Analysis and states that its products undergo third-party testing. Its quality information describes testing for cannabinoid content as well as contaminants such as pesticides, heavy metals, solvents and microbial contamination at different stages of production.

That doesn’t mean consumers should stop reading labels or doing their own homework.

It does mean there is information available to check.

And when two bottles of CBD look almost identical on a screen, I would much rather spend money with the company willing to show me the laboratory paperwork.

The Product Range Goes Beyond Gummies and Capsules

People often overlook topical CBD products because gummies get most of the attention.

PlusCBD currently sells products including balms, creams and roll-ons alongside its ingestible range. Its Extra Strength CBD Balm, for example, remains part of the main catalogue, while the broader store also includes CBD oils, drops and sprays.

This makes the store particularly useful if several people in a household prefer different formats.

One person might want a softgel because it fits neatly beside their existing supplements. Another might prefer gummies. Someone else may only be interested in a topical product.

Instead of ordering from three separate CBD companies, you can compare those formats within the same brand.

Is PlusCBD Cheap?

I wouldn’t describe PlusCBD as a bargain-basement CBD brand.

That isn’t necessarily a criticism.

Current listings span lower-priced specialty items through considerably more expensive high-strength CBD products, so the final cost depends heavily on format, potency and quantity. PlusCBD also offers a subscription option on a number of products that currently advertises 25% savings on recurring orders.

That subscription is probably most relevant after you’ve already found a product you genuinely like.

For a first purchase, I would resist the temptation to stock up simply because the cost per serving looks better. Start with a manageable size, see whether the format suits you and then decide whether subscribing makes sense.

PlusCBD’s published return policy also states that products can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, excluding shipping charges.

That takes a little of the pressure out of trying an unfamiliar brand.

So, Is PlusCBD Worth Considering?

Yes—particularly if you value variety, transparent cannabinoid amounts and the ability to choose between full-spectrum, THC-free and CBD-plus-THC products.

What I like about the range is that there isn’t one obvious product being forced on everybody.

Someone who simply wants CBD can start with Daily Balance softgels. Someone who prefers something enjoyable can explore the gummies. Shoppers specifically looking for an evening formula have several sleep-focused choices. More experienced adult hemp consumers can look at the Reserve Collection.

And people who don’t want another capsule or gummy at all still have oils and topical products to consider.

That is how a wellness brand should be organized.

If you have been comparing CBD companies for days and every browser tab is starting to look the same, PlusCBD is worth putting on the shortlist. Start with the format you already know you’ll use consistently, check the serving strength, read the Certificate of Analysis and choose from there.

The best CBD product is rarely the bottle with the loudest label.

It’s the one that actually fits into your routine well enough that you won’t forget it exists in a kitchen drawer two weeks later.

For many shoppers, that practical approach may be exactly where PlusCBD earns its place.

Important: CBD and hemp-derived THC products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease, and statements about these products have not been evaluated by the FDA. THC-containing products may cause intoxication, may be restricted in some locations and may affect drug-test results. Check the product label and local requirements, and speak with a qualified healthcare professional if you take medications, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have questions about whether cannabinoids are appropriate for you.
